It was snowing for the past two days and it was awesome. That was the first time since seven years UK had a thick snow. It was like almost 10 inches thick!!! I woke up that morning, had my breakfast and suddenly Sarah called my housemate Khalis to play outside, I was about to go to work actually!!! But then, the scenery was so great. Darn!!! Why do I choose this Thursday to work?!!! Well, I did go to work that day, slightly late...heh. That morning we made snowmen, supposedly male and female. Before we finished, they have been successfully damaged by three little brats who didn't go to school...awful kids!!! But then, as I arrived to uni, the scenery got even better...lots of students who managed to get to university, almost all of us were playing outside. People made snowman, snow arch, snow-cat etc. It was such a fantastic day.
I finished my shift around 2 pm, I called Hazwan and later both of us together with Faisal had a snowball fight which then turn into snowbitch fight!!! Heh, just kidding, it was great!!! The best part was when we were expecting Norshi to come along, as soon as she arrived, we threw the snowballs all over her...we were such a bullies!!! Poor Norshi!!! It was fun though...Then, everyone got hungry, we all went to cafe for some food while Faisal had to rush to his class... My day didn't stop there...after we finished our lunch/dinner/whatever, we had another round of snowball fight with Nabilah, Dirra, Mars and Shanira...I finally managed to make my own snowman, with Norshi's help. Since we were playing at the back of prayer hall, we came out with an idea of a snowman with hijjab!!! Heh...
After that, I had to go to my Chinese class which actually has been cancelled due to the adverse weather. It was a bit disappointing since that was the only class that I had that day, but it did turn out to be interesting...another snowball fight!!! This time with ISOC brothers!!! Previously, my perception about them as that they're all serious people, but, everybody is just like any other ordinary Warwickians, nuts and crazy...I am grateful that I can have this experience in my three years of stay in UK...

Winter isn't that bad after all, people can still enjoy and have fun in the cold and dull weather. It has brought a smile to thousands of us...I'm gonna miss this wonderful day...sure this will be one of my best memories (other than you...)Labels: Previous Posts |
