| Amsterdam |
Amsterdam was everything that has been said by others. I had a great time there. From the red light district to tulips garden, Netherlands is definitely a must visit place for everyone who's traveling to Europe. The country promises different experiences than any other European cities that I have been to. A well-structured city, beautiful architecture, bicycle as the major means of transportation (trust me...you'll be surprised by this!!!), man made canals, the wind mills and so many other things. Just name it, legal prostitution, drugs (a funny experience happened to us when we tried that stuff!), sex museums are just a customary of Amsterdam. Despite the freedom that they have, the people are so respectful in front of public. You won't see drunk people walking around, people get high on the street or prostitutes at every corner of shops. They're so sensitive about public misconduct. We also manage to spend a night in Brussels, apart from the unique Little Europe park, Brussels is just a typical European city. Nevertheless, once you are in Benelux country, you should come here and enjoy sightseeing. Belgian waffles to me are a little bit overrated. You can get those in London actually. But Belgian chocolates are nice, I tasted the exquisite chocolate truffles. The trip was definitely worth the money and time spent. So, next stop? Paris, Switzerland and Eastern Europe!
